Dumb Ox
Invisible yes, but unlike markets, never fickle.
Scottish economist Adam Smith developed the concept in the late 18th century that in unregulated markets, supply and demand will eventually balance, guided by the "Invisible Hand" of market forces. What results, according to Smith, are efficient manufacturing processes and the lowest prices.
The hand of God is likewise invisible. Only upon reflection and the passage of time do we begin to appreciate that God uses everything for the good. Faith is required. Scripture testifies to the hand of God, aiding, guiding and rewarding trust in Him. From the faith of Abraham to the faith of Mary, those who are true to His word are never disappointed. God, unlike markets, is never fickle.
